Because of a good weekend hotel deal, we find ourselves near the
Leeds and Liverpool canal, more precisely in Baildon, just north
of Shipley. It's about 3 miles from Bingley and about 12 from
Skipton.
So if anyone can recommend any good waterside pubs in the area
(for beer and/or food), my ears are open.
We'll be here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, so if anyone
is around here and would like to meet up on Sat or Sun, please
let me know.
(We're staying at the Marriott Hollins Hall Hotel and Country
Club. Because we are "Marriott Rewards" members, we got a deal
of 53.33 GBP per night per ROOM, including breakfast, at this
4 star hotel, about what we've been paying without breakfast
for Premier Travel Inns.)
