Only the usual honey pot advice.
If you want to moor up in the basin at Stratford - and it is a great
place to stay - try and arrive mid to late-morning. This is after the
overnighters have left, but before most arrive. And you can easily
fill a day in Stratford.
Otherwise we've done the Stratford in high season, and as long as
you're not overly picky I don't remember any mooring difficulties.
