Welcome to the List! Helmsman's courses are ALWAYS worthwhile - even
experienced steers can learn something, and in your situation you'll
learn an awful lot!

I went on a course with Union Canal carriers at Braunston, but you may
be in another part of the country: I'm sure people local to where you
are will be able to suggest local firms.
