That is, I suppose, not at all, as usual.
Quite often(*) when I'm walking my dog by the Thames
in the Remenham/Hambleden area I see boats leaving
Hambleden Lock and going upstream at way way over
8kph (which is a swift walking speed). I reckon some
of them must be doing 15kph at least.
