Day 20 - Thursday 13th July 2006

Lots of boats passing this morning, one thing I've noticed is how much
earlier traffic is over the Llangollen. We finally get going at 11:00, and
had a good run upto the locks, where is was lunch time. The first two locks
were in our favour, so we went up them, before stopping. We then continued
at 14:15, but two other boats in the pound above had also decided to set off
at the same time, and we followed the second one all day. They had a crew of
5, and we a crew of 2, but we stayed with them all the way up to the top of
Adderly. Apparently they had to get back to Stone for Sunday (I think it
was).

We stopped at the wharf at Victoria Bridge (67), just north of Market
Drayton where the diesel was 44.9 ppl. We had to get the bloke to unlock, as
he just closed up, but for the amount we bought he was happy.

We continued on into town, and filled with water while we had tea. Afterward
we continued down the canal to just before bridge 61 so we could get a
satellite signal.
