This reply also refers to my post of 00:09 hours on 13/7/2006. (sad old get aren't I ?) I emailed one of the big hire companies regarding this topic and was pleasantly surprised to get a reply. Full marks to them for responding. I won't name the company but one of their boats was running the engine for 2¾ hours till 11:08pm. I was really enquiring because I was wondering what they might have on board which required running the engine for so long after a full days boating. I have pasted part of their reply here: *All our hirers are informed that they should not run their engines whilst moored late into the evening. If the boat has been cruising during the day, there should be no need to run their engines at anti-social hours, regardless of the equipment on board*. Cheers Phil ------------------------ Yahoo!
