I am not replying to any post in particular, but I was always under the impression that there is a right of navigation 24 hours every day - apart from official stoppages/temporary restrictions to the contrary! I am pleased I can still exercise that right.
I get the impression that some people might see that this is anti-social? If we go down the route of trying to establish what boating hours are or aren't anti-social I suspect we will all be losers? I am insured to go boating 24/7 as I suspect most of us are. How many of you want to lose that right? I am sure that most sober night time boaters display more consideration for others than the average 9 to 5 boater? Would you want to stop road and rail traffic within certain hours too?
