Bob Are you thinking of the narrow bit between Llangollen and Llantysilio where visiting craft are not allowed? There has always been a winding hole in Llangollen just beyond bridge 45. This is where the new basin/pontoon moorings are located. It is possible to moor for free at several locations between Trevor and Llangollen and it doesn't cost a penny to wind a boat in Llangollen!!......... but we had better not give BW any ideas on raising new surcharges!
