Mike struggled with: Actually did I ever admit that in the boat tug of war at this year's Vintage Engine Rally, I was beaten by a Ruston? :-( The final (which ended in a draw) was between a Gardner 4Lsomething and a Kelvin K2. Yes I read that (in the VME magazine) , in the bucketing rain, you'd been one of the foolhardy few to enter..............no wonder you nearly got to the final then, so few entered ;-)) Even so, the final was a draw and contested between two decent engines.................I rest my case! ;-) Roger
