Looks as though BW may have got licence evaision about right. DVLA failed to persue 619000 cases last year. Only 1 in 10 that went to court resulted in payment. 1.5 million vehicles have no tax. Since bringing in an 80 pound automatic fine for non renewal, tax evasion has increased from 18 million to 147 million pounds. Seen in todays Times.
