Mike, in the five plus years I have been a member of the Canals List, I have
not experienced any problems, other than those which were experienced by the
entire list. I have always had my list messages sent by e-mail rather than
going to the website.
Then, a couple of years ago, I was invited to try out Gmail. Since then, my
receipt of the Canals list has been flawless. Any stoppage in the flow has
been entirely the fault of Yahoo, of whom I am not particularly enamoured.
I have to admit that there are some aspects that I don't particuarly like,
but they are few, and so insignificant that they do not detract from my
enjoyment of the list.
If I may, I'd suggest that you give gmail a try. It has the definite
advantage of being web-based, like the YahooGroups, but you don't have to
worry about being blacklisted.
Send me an e-mail off-list if you'd like an invitation to try gmail.
cheers,
Phil
