Are you sure? We have held wrg meetings there and had most of the wrg
vehicle fleet (including the 7.5 tonne beavertail truck) parked in the
car park. Perhaps you only saw the car park out the front, there is
another at the back.
It has to be said I now consider "The Wood" to be my local as I spend
more time in it than any of the Newbury pubs, including my 30th birthday
party earlier this year! I can recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding :-)
