We've stopped at Rugby lots of times and the moorings are quite pleasant on
the North side of Tescos alongside the industrial estate, I wouldn't think
there would be any problems finding a place to moor at that time of year.
We've not stayed the other side of the bridge beyond Tescos and the
Harvester. .

We've eaten at the Harvester quite a few times and really enjoyed it. Great
salad bar and reasonable prices. Bar one side, restaurant the other.

Hope you have a good time.

Liz

Subject: [canals-list] Re: Some Advice Please

Thanks to all those have offered advice. I'll probably have more questions
to ask as we get closer. One that comes to mind now is what is the overnight
mooring situation around Rugby. We will probably be stopping there to go to
Tescos. Should arrive about 5.30 - 6.00 pm. Is there a particular place to
moor and are there places to avoid. I imagine it is a bit built up there.
Does anyone know the Harvester Inn? What's it like.

Cheers

Mick and Kay Russell
