I started the day by holding up police station! Some may think that holding up
a bank would be better, but this was a mobile police station that had to wait
at Tyle Mill bridge whilst I opened it to let Jannock pass. We met Tony on
Jenny B when we got to County lock. He was travelling back and forth through
the Oracle shopping centre promoting the National in 2 weeks time.
Did a raid on Tescos before going to better Boating to purchase diesel.
Continued up stream on the Thames and cleared Pangbourne lock before 7 PM. Was
looking for a Beale park mooring when we spotted Albion quietly moored.
Breasted up as we were told to by Margaret only to find Pilgrim moored
immediately in front. Jannock-o-gig ensued which ended amidst threats of an 8
am start tomorrow.
