You should have asked on URW - Gibbo would certainly have popped up...
To me, it's sounds like they need replacing, I wouldn't waste time with 
"vitamins", they *might* do a very short term improvement, but then the 
batteries will suddenly die.  IMHO they are a little small to be running on 
an alternator - I was always told to keep charge rate at a max of 10% for 
leisure batteries (I'm sure there's someone who'll agree/disagree...), so 
330/10 = 33amps and I suspect your alternator can push out much more than 
33amps.
