I hold a licence but I don't have a call sign, the radio station has the 
call sign. The operators licence as far as I'm aware lasts for ever. I 
have not used a radio for over 6 years now. I did have to sign a secrecy 
agreement that I would not repeat anything I heard on the radio that got 
me into a conflict at work once. I refused to repeat to management what I 
heard.
