Cookham to Penton Hook

We got off quite late in the morning, just before a lock full of boats, and
kept ahead of them to Maidenhead. I decided to go around the back of the
island below the lock, and so got behind the narrowboat, and dutch barge we
were ahead of. At the next lock we missed out on the penning.

We had a fairly boring run down, with nothing really happening out of the
ordinary. We stopped above the lock at Penton Hook, just above the lock
moorings. This is a fairly good spot, apart from 1/3 of the planes out of
Heathrow flying overhead. At least you don't get the landing planes, so it
was quiet in the morning.
