After a day trip home in the car for washing, bathing, shopping and stitch
removal, we noticed that Goring lock was not at all busy when we crossed on
our return to Beale Park.
Once back on Jannock, it was less than 15 minutes before I had split open my
knee wound :^( Brenda scowled and cursed a lot as she re-sealed my knee
with steristrips and a plaster.
We took advantage of the lull we had observed at Goring and set off,
accompanied by Albion, to clear Goring and Cleeve locks before stopping for
the night adjacent to the under river pipeline works. We had watered up
simultaneously at the head of Cleeve lock with Jannocks tank taking the same
amount of time to fill on the slow hose as Albions did on the faster one.
