Not in my experience - the injector adds only about 6-7 times as much
water as it uses. If the injector was more efficient ships wouldn't use
the Worthington or Weir pumps. Pumps will also work with hot feedwater,
from condensate or pre-heated by the exhaust, which makes injectors even
more temperamental than usual...
