Sounds about right, never seen swallow, but ive heard a fair bit
about her on our travels south, apprently she was a ricky festaval
this year?

We met tixals new owner about this time last year, he was yet to
steam her, but planned to move her north to adderley i beleave.
 - He came aboard emilyanne, and we discused steamboats, tixal having
the same engine as emilyanne.

According to current issue of the steamboat register (7th ed,
may2000) Theres also "energy" "pussywillow" "sidney" and "benson"
 - I havnt seen or heard of eather of these, but i'd be supprised if
atleast one of them wasnt still about?
 - Theres also of cause the story on monach, which is nolonger steam,
and currently up for sale again.

And the of cause theres the narrowboat Geofflaycock is in the process
of building aroung another 4.5+7.5*4 leak compund.
 - Seams to be geting on with it treat, and i keep meaning to go and
see it again.

Yes, thats very odd, not seen the before.
 - I think basicaly its just down to cost and lazyness a foot square
sheet of 12mm mild steel takes very little effort, and seams to be
good enough!

That said, we are serously considering fitting a schilling rudder to
emilyanne next time she's out of the water (spring of next year)
