Hi Capt. Ah, yes. Breewood, canals, mini-gig and 9/11. How could we forget.
We were in UK last Oct. very briefly after our Rhine/Main/Danube trip. But Peter was not feeling well and we didnot manage even a short break on the canals. Plans were to do a Canadian Waterways trip this year and hopefully canals in 2007. However, he is in for open heart surgery next week, so '06 trip has been postponed until 2007. Maybe UK (Pennines? Wales?) in 2008. But we're not letting the side down! Linda and Eric, the other half of the crew, are coming over next year to introduce another Canuck couple to the joys of nbing. Cue Eric...... Sorry you haven't replaced the Rover - I hope whomever you sold it to is taking good care of it - a lovely car. We still have the '49 P3 and are (were) in the process of rebuilding a '69 3500. They originally came as automatic, but we have put in a 5 speed box with overdrive. Completion now probably late next Spring rather than this year. We are looking forward to 'his and her' Rovers to take to car shows.
