I eventually received a refund from Orange yesterday. £22.

On one of my calls to the helpline I had remembered to ask for the lady's
name. Yesterday she was going through the list of people who she personally
had dealt with about the fault. She seemed to have decided that the
technical people had taken too long sorting the refunds, and she was doing
it herself.

She'd already worked out how much was due to me - including refunds for my
calls to the helpline. She just wanted to know whether I wanted some or all
of it as a cheque instead of credit on the PAYG account.

It's very refreshing to find that someone on a helpdesk will go to the
trouble of actually helping people! Full marks to her!

Dave Wedd.
