Ah yeah, i was goi to put in a line about floating dry docks.
 - Theres one at anderton marina, just accross the canal from
travelreign, aptly named "titanic".

Its just a 15ft wide, 75ft long, 3ft deep box. With a flapdown door
at one end. And a large valve at the other.
 - They sink it till it lays on the sahllow bottom, float the boat
in, pull up the door on a chain, and pump it out with pair of small
petrol pumps.
 - Then to get the boat , they just open the valve till its partly
full, and open the door and let the rest in.

We where going to do into it to do some minor work and a hull survey
on emilyanne. Unfornatly the area under the dry dock has silted up a
lot, to an extent where they couldnt get the tank low enough to get
her over the cill.
 - The i mearly have about 10 photos of her repeatedly ramming the
tank with her skeg!!
 - However, theres a pair of photos of the tank on there webpage at
http://www.alvechurch.com/marinas/anderton/index.html
 - Which infact show the tank sunk noticably further down than it was
when we tryed to get in it.
