Or perhaps magnetic signs to stick on the sides of the cabin. "

One of the boats at the National this year used kiddies magnetic letters
(fridge magnet style) to put messages on the side of their boat, a great
idea! Brenda is currently scouring various cheap sources to obtain a set
for Jannock. Pity we threw the others out when the kids got older ;^)

Sounds a good idea, but the idea is getting more refined as I go on. It's
now including a way of adding stickers to the display to show affiliations,
such
as CIBC, IWA, WRG, etc. That way we can just have our own set on the boat
when we are on it and not upset the other owners by leaving them up when we
are
 gone.
One problem is that some stickers are reverse printed to go on the inside of
a window and others are designed to be stuck on an outside surface. So it's
looking more and more like a sandwich of opaque and clear perspex-type
material. Or just stick them on a sheet of white card and Blu-tak that inside
the
window!

As for getting sets of the lettering, S&S Services
(_http://www.ss-services.co.uk/_ (http://www.ss-services.co.uk/) ) have a set
of reusable self-adhesive
letters and numbers that will 'stick anywhere. They are GBP2.49 a set and
the Reference is V10.But they are not magnetic and they may be affected by any
wax, grease or dust on the surface you might want to attach them to. I
believe Aldi or Lidl also have magnetic letters on 'special' occasionally.
