I think they must have been preoccupied at that time inside the
building (I know I was). They were certainly out there later when
I was. In fact Eugene came over and joined me when I was talking
to a few.

Frankly, I think the problem was that the word wasn't spread enough.
All I remember reading about was a post from Sue Burchett saying
she was going to the demo at the Mail Box. What demo? Was that actually
the call that turned out to be the demonstration outside the AGM (which
wasn't at the Mailbox).

After seeing Sue's post we found out that NABO had something going on ot
the Maillbox and we put it on our website Timetable
(www.saveourwaterways.org.uk) and mentioned it in our campaign doc.
Clearly there is a lesson to learn here; get the word out! I still don't
know what was going on at the Mailbox although the subject sounded
worthy and, indeed, was a question asked at the AGM ("Where is the
Minister?")

Perhaps what we need is someone at act as coordinator of protestors (
The SOWers?). I'm sure we could give them space on our website. Any
volunteers?

She asked me to put something up on the website but didn't have
anything to give me about it. I said why not send an email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but she said she didn't have
enough time. Sorry, Sue but its difficult to help if someone
doesn't give us the ammunication).

Cheers
