I've no idea what strange fluences are in action but since we left
Glascote on Sat 14th Oct (having decided to stay beyond Fri 13th) our
comms have been completely gerfucht.
We may be back from the darkside but all is not completely tickety-boo.
By way of an experiment this is a brief summary of our progress.
SAT 14th - to Wood End Lock T&M- beyond Fradley. Uncharacteristically
busy. Mainly folk going the opposite way.
SUN 15th - to Stafford BC. More quiet. Filled with diesel at 43ppl and
Hansons at 180ppp.
MON 16th - to our favourite and hence secret mooring on the S&W not too
far out of the Wolverhampton smoke. Delayed en route by collapsed
pedestrian and consequent need to administer compassionate succour and
dial 999. All OK.
TUE 17th - Kinver after 18 locks and 10 miles. Very quiet and most
pleasant cruise.
And from here . . . . to Stourport, for BSC test and onward to Gloster
