I know of at least one case where an electronic washing machine 
couldn't cope with the output from a Victron Phoenix Multi 
inverter/charger, despite the fact that it is supposed to be pure sine 
wave. That's why we were careful to buy a machine with a simple rotary 
knob type programmer.
