I agree Sue. There was a smiley on my post! Might be possible to
station people and banners on the turn though and hand out leaflets to
the hire boaters, who may be less aware of the situation. Come to that
(for the Napton/Calcutt boats) the best spot might be in the tree by
Midland Chandlers - most of them seem to end up in it!!

Very much agreed. It's the ideal opportunity for the Politics Sow to
do a piece on the DEFRA cuts generally.
