Hi, Can any of you Mac people help here? I have a G4 with two drives - one has OS9 (which I have used) and the other reportedly has OS X.
The 9 drive sounds growl-y and makes continuous grunting and whinging noise. I want to abandon it and use the other drive. When I brought up the OS X drive to install a later version of OS X from a disc, it says I'm missing a driver. Is this a repairable at home situation? Or am I doomed to a repair shop visit? TIA, Marie nb notterriblycomputertechnologyliterate __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
