A brilliant day on Uncle Mort. First some minor maintenance and then a late morning cruise for 90 mins from Parkend to Gloucester Docks under a clear blue sky. Autumn colours abound, happy fisherman and attentive bridge keepers pleased to see us.
The nose is not neglected either. A mixture of aromas to sense - new oil on the hot engine, the chuffs of exhaust and the wisps of coal smoke. A full house at Kingsholm for the match against Wasps, all in good spirits and another win for the home team. What more could you wish for ?
