I agree with Bruce and Graham. A chain-type message is just going to
get up people's noses and reduce SOW's standing in people's opinions.

I see the SOW petition has just reached 2000! Well done everyone!

(By the way, before anyone else asks - I have only signed it once and
that was last week!)

[Editor's note: I replied to this 5 hours ago but my reply hasn't
appeared yet, so this is a second try. I beyt they'll both appear at
the same time now. 60 more names have been added to the petition in
the intervening time!]
