I agree with Bruce and Graham. A chain-type message is just going to get 
up people's noses and reduce SOWs standing in people's opinions.

I see the SOW petition has just reached 2000! Well done everyone!

(By the way, before anyone else asks - I have only signed it once and 
that was last week!)
