I asked the owner of a fishing lake if they would display posters, handout leaflets and get signatures from the fishermen who fish on their water and use their shop. (Is there a fishy word for chandlery?)They were more than happy, asked where to get more leaflets from and said that many of their 'clients' also fish rivers and canals. Another positive outlet there. As their lake is underwater, as it were, at the moment the points about flood defences become very pertinent in sunny Hoxfordshire!
