And given the inconvenience (and possible danger) of running out of fuel 
on a boat, and the desire to keep condensation down, I hardly ever let 
the tank get less than half full. I get through the equivalent of about 
2 tanks full a year. It could be *years* before the level of dye in the 
fuel drops to an undetectable level!
