DR (Diabetic specialist GP) started by saying that my cholestrerol was 4.6 which was fine as far as he was concerned so well done and then went on to say that the goalposts had been moved and that the target was now 4.0 so I might as well take 20mg statins instead of 10mg to get there. Presumably he gets a cash payment if I hit the target :-)} He then said that they don't even start people on 10mg these days.
