I would reckon that the main 'sights' other than countryside are in Warwick and central Coventry - Leamington is quite pleasant but the better bits are away from the canal moorings, which are not in the most pleasant area. There could be a point in spending the first day or so in Warwick, to look around, get sorted out, over jet-lag etc. The section of Coventry between the canal basin and the Cathedral contains interesting modern developments, but beyond Stretton the country is fairly bleak and you are actually going south to get into Coventry. If you want to visit Coventry it might be more convenient to get e.g. a train to Coventry - for example the Ibis hotel, which is fairly cheap and cheerful, is 200 yards from the station, with a frequent fast service to Birmingham airport. > Turn and off down the Grand Union back to Warwick and Kate > Narrowboats.
