FWIW I use a nifty perl based counter - "MultipleC". I like it beacuse it 1. Shows the user how many times he's been on a day (not perfect as it uses IP addresses) 2. Doesn't increment when someone saves a page and views it off-line. Output look like... Your Visits: 6 Unique Site Visits: 27417 Total SIte Visits: 41399 For other data I download a copy of the site log and view with Sawmill once a month If anyone's interested I have kept a copy of the original zip (you would have a had job finding it on the web - I think the author is trying to sell a later version on his site - but it's in Dutch...) No idea what it would do on a Mac in any browser.....
