Unfortunately - even our railway trip freight workings stopped many
years ago, I'm not sure when exactly, but probably in the 1960's - and
most village sidings have lain dormant ever since except for use by
the engineers. 

Back OT - I don't know of any  agricultural  traffic on the canals,
I'm sure someone else will explain more.
