I complained when I discovered this in Sainsbury's SavaCentre
Calcott before Xmas*, and the supervisor I complained to said
she'd spent nearly all day being to complained to about it,
so Sainsbury's are being economical with the truth Sue.

*Like John I didn't know about the change of policy either,
which is what I complained about - fortunately I had bought
something in that Sainsbury's a couple of months prior so
my transaction was ok, but the warning from the cashier caused
a bit of worry because I couldn't remember whether I had used
the card there recently and apparently there's no way for the
cashier to know until the goods have been rung through the till.
I had nearly £250-worth of points and would have been extremely
dis-chuffed to find I couldn't use them...
