I work for a company based near Essington and we've just been notified by Severn Trent Water of major works in this area, including a section of the Wyrley & Essington Canal at Strawberry Lane. I know where Strawberry Lane is but the canal is more than 2 miles from there at it's nearest point (Sneyd Junction.) Am I missing something or are they mistaken?
