I have just been speaking to my Biodiesel supplier and he tells me that HMRC
are pushing for there to be NO tax rebated bio diesel available. Due I
believe to the fact that they cant decide how to mark it.
If we wish to use it we will have to buy it at full price, currently 79.5pL,
and reclaim the duty.
Oh and the catch they will not entertain claims for less than £50 so less
than 200L and you wont be able to claim.
So much for a green government.....
He has also heard that there will be new laws brought in re Red Diesel in
the Budget so our present hiatus will be over.
