The cards are only in place - not for your benifit but for theirs! It's a way of tracking your shopping habits, so thay can send / e-mail appropiate (to them) suggestions of things to buy. When the last car was sick, I logged on to Tesco's to get some shopping delivered (the local one now delivers to my village). - Lo and behold, the main page gave me loads of suggsions to buy based on what I had bought in the past in Tesco stores (with the Clubcard).
