I tend to agree and to boycott them further you would have to avoid these chains Two For One, Chef & Brewer and John Barras (Spirit Group). Might I suggest a little subterfuge at this moment which you might like to try if your still wanting to press the matter. Why not buy some shares and then complain as a shareholder and a prospective patron treated rudely by the landlord.
