Look at the website for the Caldon and Uttoxeter Trust, www.cuct.org.uk,
which I have recently taken over and which is being updated most days at
the moment after having only been initially published 4 days ago! There
is already a map there that shows both the original route and the
restoration route currently proposed by the Trust. I've yet to add most
of the Uttoxeter content but you should get to see our plans and a lot
more detail of the route if you check back in a week or two.

The short answer to your original question is that not a lot remains in
Uttoxeter itself other than a couple of former canal buildings. The
section around Spath (the opposite side of the A50 to the town) is still
visible but not easily accessed by car. The best preserved - and happily
the most interesting - section is near Alton

I'll put a note on this list when the site is properly built.

Cheers,
Steve
