May not change the result. Not much point in voting by people who are

Ah, my favourite idea, the "None of the above" box. In my scheme,
if the candidates did not do well enough against "None of the above",
the parties would need to choose new candidates and rerun the election.
After a few experiences with this, the parties may settle down to
running decent candidates in the first place.
