A possibly better way to continue would be - instead of emailing the location, which is encoded - to use the right mouse button on the new pin location, and select "center map here". Then on the menu bar just above the map, under "Share", select "View Permalink". This provides an address with the lat/long in it in plain text. (The "Send link in e-mail" under "Share" also shows the address with lat/long.)
