I have tried to sign the petition 4 times but they obviously don't want me to
as once they (the government) went down and 3 times they said they would E-mail
but nowt came. In the midst of my tries the wife signed and got an immediate
E-mail to an adress I had used but no response. Maybe I am on an 'ignore the
tax payer' black-list or maybe this ignoring is all part of the gov.plan to
reduce the size of petitions so they can ignore than without being rude about
the one who started them - as they did with the roads petition man!

Subject: [canals-list] Waterways Petition

Just a quick reminder that if you have not already signed the online
petition to the government to save the funding for the waterways you have
just 1 week left to do so.There are 6,345 signatures there at the moment.

If a couple wish to sign it then you need your own e mail addresses, so if
anyone wants an invitation for a gmail address just let me know.
