We have one of these on the wrg Landrover (110v version but I can't imagine there is too much difference). There are an inordinate number of fuses on it, so it may be worth checking these. Two on the 12v control feed and at least two in the black control box (which you have to drill the pop rivets out of to access). Having said that, if you used to have to rev it for the unit to kick in, it does sound like the brushes.... George "Bungle" Eycott Waterway Recovery Group
