The trouble is that Teflon Tony and his multi-minions are being paid with our
tax money to waste their time and use up fossil fuels on electricity sending us
petitioners spurious E-mails. If they didn't have these petitions - which they
ignore - there might be a bit less greenhouse gas but, of course, having the
petitions makes the people think that Tony cares.
Strangely enough the head of the last government that let the people have a
say ( in his case by yes/no Plebiscites) was one Louis Napoleon, who, voted in
by one of his Plebiscites became Emperor Napoleon 3 - the last emperor of
France. He kept the job 1852 till the 1870s when the Prussians beat hell out of
their fellow Europeans . Maybe Tony has aspirations in the direction of being
Emperor too - who knows!
