A mentioning bodily functions I see BWs latest talking head has justified
(in Waterways World) the doubling of pump-out charges by telling us that BW
just want to charge the same as everyone else. (Presumably everywhere else
includes BW marinas.). Of course in a marina pump-out the boat-owner does not
have to get their hands dirty or provide the blue stuff etc. but BW T-Heads
wouldn't know about the nitty gritty - would they!
So what will BW decide to match the market on next? Will it be rubbish
disposal, elsan disposal, or maybe provision of drinking water. But hold on -
isn't the supply of these all part of the services provided to boaters by BW as
part what we get for our license fee. With BW it pays to watch your backs -
especially when they want us to be nice to them and bring out the 'all in this
together' against Defra card!
